2021 Dear Yuletide Author Letter

   Dear Yuletide Author:

Thank you so much for participating – and I apologize in advance if this letter is in no way helpful. This is my fourth time doing yuletide and I’m still so nervous about everything!!!

The fandoms I’ve decided to ask for are: 

Hidden Legacy Series - Ilona Andrews
October Daye Series - Seanan McGuire
Cursed Luck Series - Kelley Armstrong



Before I go into specifics, I’ll guess I’ll start just in general. I’m okay with any rating – write whatever you feel comfortable, or that you think would best fit the story. Porn is good, but also no porn is good. I like AUs (Space! Hogwarts! Mafia!) and typical tropes (soulmates! Accidentally dating! Magic!). Polyamory when canon seems to be leading there (but even if it doesn’t). I like fluff and comedy, sassiness. Not a big fan of sadness, unless it ends happily. I'm also a fan of good old holiday feelgood fluff fic. I’m not a fan of bathroom function kinks, death, torture (unless it’s canon-typical. I’d also prefer if it was no covid/pandemic stuff. 

Tags that typically get me to click are Protective!Character, Slow Burn, Friends to Lovers, Happy ending, Fluff, Team as Family, Family Feels, anything regarding baking/cooking for others, cuddling & snuggling, kid fic, teasing, flirting, matchmaking, stupid bets, domestic fluff, families of choice…. There’s probably a ton more, but these are the ones I picked as I was going through the list of most recent fics in my favorite fandoms.
